A room with a view - looking over treetops and tennis courts in the leafy, quiet corner of Holland Park.
Gone are the days with a bland, tiled box of a room - by adding a dramatic marble wall with bespoke cabinetry, this bathroom scheme integrates with that of the bedrooms, completed with layers of concealed lighting.
It is quite a challenge to design a young person's bedroom and get it just right. They are the most critical judges. We intilled a little Notting Hill vibe with a bohemian clash of colours, while balancing the rest of the space to make it more future proof.
Using a matching fabric for the Roman blind gently ties in with the adjacent bold, colourful wall; while the blue satin drapery and grasscloth wallpaper create a calming, sophisticated atmosphere.
Dan enjoys this little corner in the master suite - a carefully curated mix of specialist, high-street and bespoke furnishings and pieces.

Designers Statement

Having had the joy of working with these clients for twenty years and executed a number of projects for them, we returned to the leafy Holland Park to work on a new extension to their London pied-à-terre. This is a private suite for the couple and their tweenage daughter, a special treat for the family when staying in London. Over the years, we have built trust and understanding with the clients that we could push the parameters and even be daring in our designs.
