Our favourite Marc Krusin chairs in the perfect setting.
The large rear family room with newly laid parquet floor and a kitchen designed by Studio Hopwood.
We splashed out on Calacatta marble work surfaces.
Low hanging hand blown lights.
A view to the casual dining area.
A blend of old and new. Silk lined wall paper, a bronze dining table. The Saarinen chairs are in faux Ostrich leather.
Hand knitted mid Century chairs are naughtily place in front of classic French Armoire.
One of our own pieces made of Macassar Ebony and hand painted Chinese Silk wallpaper.
To conceal the clumsy fireplace, we hung an over-scale convex mirror over it, which reflects the rather grand crystal chandelier.
The client does like a lot of beige but the colour set off the painting really well.
The mirror has been designed and commissioned by Daniel Hopwood and is made from beautiful, soft moongold, which is water gilded on the frame and gilded on the back of the glass to create a soft reflection. The sideboard below is also bespoke.
Feel a bit proud of the night club loo that we designed. A mixture of black glass, sand blasted bronze mirror and wonderfully grained marble.
Peace and calm in the study.
Mid- century and some cushions made from vintage scarves that we had made
Even the bathroom has a seating area
Flooring by Missoni in the gym.
Back light shoes storage, surely everyone’s dream?
A joinery detail, it's the sort of thing we get excited about in the studio.
When we first saw the house the developers had been in before consequently we stripped it and started again.

Designers Statement

Just occasionally, in fact only once has a client landed at our door who has no budget constraints and a great art collection. Here is the result of our collaboration. For this fantastic South-West London property, we created a practical family home with plenty of space for entertaining both formally or for just hanging out. We had fun mixing old and new, eBay and fine antiques, we also created some bespoke pieces which turned out to be not as expensive as you think.
