Deep turquoise glass was placed between the windows to connect the views
With such an impressive space it’s hard for it not to look like a showroom.. but I think we nailed it!
We’ve created a welcoming space to have an evening with friends or just watching the TV. Can you spot it?
1970’s cocktail chairs add a touch of personality to a new build apartment
Don’t ask how much the chandelier cost but with careful balancing of the budget it was a bit of a treat
The chaise is floating on a rug of a constellation designed by Jan Kath for frontrugs.com
What else could you do with a few spare Hermes boxes?
A place to flip the latest Vogue in the ultimate personal space
There is an element of calmness in the bedroom, spiced up a little bit with Kit Miles cushions
A quiet corner in the bedroom where a Barcelona chair and Ikea shelves can live happily together
Those guitars deserved eel skin and velvet in ruby red. Strumming to the radiogram
The music room is not all show there is a lot of hidden storage too
Climbing into bed should never be mundane
A corner to park the LPS and travel books

Designers Statement

When a cosmopolitan, urbane couple whose second passion is London, decide to buy a new apartment, what else would they choose but one in a new high rise building with 360 degree views of London?

It occupies an entire floor, enabling them not only to live their lives comfortably, but also to have an opportunity to pursue their individual interests. Each has a room that they can call their own. His is dedicated to sound in its most sumptuous form, music. He required ample storage for his guitar and record collection, as well as an opportunity to show off some of them. He also wanted a space where he could happily strum away, whilst gazing out to the sunset. She too has a passion, a visual one; fashion. For her, we created a room where she could hang out with the girls, try on new things and not have to rush too quickly to get ready for an evening out.

Many thanks to Katherine Maginnis for the art curation. For the selection of cushions, thanks to Evitavonni
